AgriFutures Rural Women’s Acceleration Grant recipient, Samantha Sutherland, is researching the potential for the local manufacture of amphoras, or clay based vessels traditionally associated with the ancient Mediterranean world, to store and transport wine, grapes, olives and olive oil, grain fish and other goods, The research has inspired her in rethinking her own wine label and wrapping up her Bachelor of Wine Science degree.
