Flipping so called influences and health experts have got meriled this week!

 

Everywhere you look, someone is telling you what you shouldbe doing. Eat more protein. Fast for longer. Lift heavier. Walk after meals. Balance your hormones. Fix your gut. Hack your morning. Take this supplement. Stop eating that food. Do this before 9am and apparently your whole life will change.

 

It is exhausting, but I am so fed up with the broken promises and people who care more about money than your health.

 

Don’t get me wrong, some of the advice out there is good.Some of it is genuinely helpful. But when you are already tired, overwhelmed, stretched thin, not sleeping properly, struggling with your energy, your digestion, your hormones, your relationship with food, or simply trying to keep up with life, it can start to feel like another thing you are failing at.

 

And that is the bit I have a problem with, because genuinely you are not defined by a trend (although at times it feels like it, right?!).

Here my take on this and WHY it is time to change the narrative when it comes to your health.
