But let us all make sure to not focus on the idea that "the little guy wins" but instead on that the victory was at the will of the Lord, who had been working to prepare David with every animal encounter, and with the Word of God strong in his heart. As we face the daily war with sin, know that Jesus has freed us from those chains of sin! David knew God would deliver him, and we have the same confidence! Let us use what God has given us to use for his glory: Love, Service, Humility.
