Your Conquest Assured – Exodus 23:20-22

In our opening the children of Israel have left Egypt (a type of the world)

They are at Mount Saini, the Ten Commandments were given. The other laws that pertained to life and treatment of other people are being told. Then at the end of this giving of laws, the Lord declares a promise to the Children of Israel
  • BEHOLD! I SEND AN ANGEL BEFORE YOU! TO KEEP YOU IN THE WAY! TO BRING YOU TO THE PROMISED LAND!
  • But God expected something and here was the agreement, Obey the things God speaks
  • If they would be obedient, God said he would be an enemy unto their enemies and an adversary to their adversaries!
  • Their conquest of the promised land was assured if they would only listen to Jehovah
  • A sermon on the thought YOUR CONQUEST ASSURED
