Luke chapter 12 verse 19, “And I will say to my soul, soul you have many goods laid up for many years; take your ease, eat, drink and be merry. But God said to him, ‘Fool, this night your soul will be required of you.’“

According to the United Nations, as of the year 2008, 6,775 people per day are dying in America. Putting this into perspective, that’s 2,423,018 deaths in this country per year, or the population of a large city being buried annually. We all think that we are going to live forever, and the reality is that in eternity we will; either in heaven with God or in hell without Him. The person who lives unconcerned about this, Jesus rightly calls a fool. You should today be concerned about this because your end might be closer than you think.
