In a society that values “success” and “achievement,” we forget that our actual existence is a gift from God. Whatever we achieve in the material world means nothing in the spiritual realm. When we devote too much energy in developing the false self, we build too thick a wall between ourselves and God. It is up to us to break down these walls and remember our original grace.
