“YOUR FAITH”

Over the last few weeks, we have been preaching about faith, healing, wholeness, and believing in the One true God. This week we will continue to look at the Biblical references to “YOUR FAITH”.

How important is “your faith”? In over 18 stories of healing, deliverance, and salvation Jesus specially acknowledged the person He was addressing and said “your faith” has released this blessing. The Apostle Paul referred to “faith” 37 times in the two short letters that he wrote to Timothy. Here are a few of his quotes: “continue in faith”, “some will depart from the faith”, “some have strayed from the faith”, “Fight the good fight of faith”, “genuine faith” and his last reference is “I have kept the faith”.

Do not underestimate the power of your faith.

Prayer – Dear God, remind us how important our faith is. Help us to grow in our faith. Help us to encourage and strengthen one another in our faith. Remind us that we put our faith in the Person of Jesus Christ and claim as Paul did, “I know whom I have believed”. Amen
