Dr. Jonathan Newman is Assistant Professor of Economics and Finance at Bryan College. He holds a PhD in economics from Auburn University. He is a Mises Institute Fellow, and his research and publications have focused on economic methodology, business cycles, and comparative economic systems.

Prior to teaching at Bryan College, Dr. Newman taught at Auburn University and designed online courses for the Foundation for Economic Education. He writes for the Ludwig von Mises Institute and the Foundation for Economic Education.
