Have you been guilty of focusing and praying about all of the things that you were going through?
Are you focused on your challenge? Does your time in meditation, does it just focus on the things that you're going through?
Maybe you're having marital problems, maybe you are having financial problems, maybe you're wrestling with disappointment in life. Maybe you have health issues. Are you guilty of meditating on your challenges?
Truth is most humans focus on the negative, or the thing that seems to be blocking them from achieving the things that they desire. I confess, I've been guilty of meditating on my challenges in the past. And what I discovered was that the more that I meditated on my challenges, the more feelings of hopelessness and discouragement I began to have. A matter of fact, if I'm totally honest, I spent years just praying about my problems. Praying about my problems.
Praying about my problems. Now don't get me wrong, we're supposed to share our burdens with our Father in prayer, but our burdens should never be our focal point.
I pray that today, you will remember that the God in you is greater than your challenges. And in order to overcome, you simply have to focus and fix your eyes upon him. Have an overcomer day. I am praying and cheering for you.
