Hey Friends!

I thought of many ideas and topics on what this podcast should be about, and then after spending an afternoon with some friends and relating stories about my move here, Patti and I agreed I should use that as the topic.

In the end, my take on moving to and living in California stood out. It's been a wild ride the past 17 years, and you may get a kick out of hearing how it's changed my life.

I've lived a full life in many places, but never for this long, and never have I had to adapt to so many changes. Those changes lead to some fun stories that hope to entertain everyone. Stories I talk about on the podcasts will, in many cases, relate to the ones I publish in the newsletter since they have impacted my life here.

Today was the first try at something new. We posted the Shoot the Breeze newsletter #19 with a Voiceover which should have produced a podcast episode, but it didn’t so here it is.

I thought I would use Shoot the Breeze to try out this new platform idea before I attempt to use it on the weekend edition of California Mishegoss.

Your thoughts on this style of newsletter would be appreciated since I keep trying to push the envelop with this newsletter.

While I enjoy speaking more than writing be prepared for mistakes in pronouncing some words. I don’t edit and never have since I want everyone to know this isn’t a canned talk. Everything is off the cuff and fresh, so enjoy.

I’m not positive this is the best idea, but it’s different.
