Your identity is not something you need strive for or perform for, it is received through Jesus. When you know who you are as a child of God, you walk in confidence, peace, and purpose because you're not moved by fear or comparison or what anybody else thinks. The enemy wants to keep you bound in shame and the lies that say you're not enough, but Jesus came to set the captives free, to heal those wounds from the inside out. When you let Him cut off the dead branches and burn away what's not of Him, you rise from the ashes as a fruit-bearing disciple who releases hope and healing wherever you go. So don't you give up, lean into Him. Let the Prince of Peace who dwells inside of you govern your heart. When you're coupled with Jesus, rooted in His love and rested in your identity, that's when you live the abundant, victorious life He died to give you.
