Fred Guttenberg knows pain and suffering—he has dealt with loss in the public eye. On February 14, 2018, he lost his 14-year-old daughter, Jaime, during the Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School shooting in Parkland, Florida. Fred has since dedicated his life to raising awareness about gun safety through his organization, Orange Ribbons for Jaime, and has focused all of his efforts as of late to getting out the vote for the 2018 midterm elections. Listen to Fred and Sophia discuss the grieving process, finding mission and purpose, and why it’s imperative that people always show up to the polls.
