1. Rinse your mouth out with water after you eat so there is little to no food left sitting on your teeth, keeping an acidic environment in your mouth.
2. Wait for 45-60 minutes after you’ve finished your meal before you brush your teeth with toothpaste so the pH in your mouth can get to neutral first.
3. Looks for the signs of clenching/grinding (bruxism) in your mouth and get a night guard to protect your teeth and gums.
4. Floss before brushing so you can see that you’ve removed everything from under your gums and along the sides of your teeth. Then brush gently using only a soft or extra soft bristled brush because your gums are way more sensitive than you realize.
6. Ask your dentist and/or dental hygienist about MI Paste and use it per the manufacturer directions.
7. We recommend using the highly effective OraBrush tongue brush/scraper. You can find videos online for how to use that as well!
