Materialistic items will be left behind at death. Your mind, your health and all of your belonging will all be left behind. All of your current endeavors will be in vain at the time of your death. If life is truly vain then what is there to look forward to at death? Put your hope in the Lord! If you're lost this life is as good as it's going to get but, if you're saved then this current life is as bad as it's going to be.

We as humans all have things that mean absolutely nothing at death. We must repent of those material junk items. The Word of God, the bible, was not written about you therefore it's not about you. The bible was written on One and that was Jesus Christ.

God chastises those that are His because He loves them and wants them to do better. God knows exactly how to chastise those that are saved because He knows us inside and out. He knows each and every person and what it'll take to bring one under submission. The saved should at some point know that when God calls one out, stop, listen and obey. The saved should never think that God wouldn't chastise them. God can and will bring you down if you do not repent of the sins in your life. When God chastises it breaks down the pride down to nothing.

Be so heavenly minded so you're no earthly good. We live in a Godless society. Flesh is everywhere! The saved should feel more like a stranger in this life than a welcomed guest.

Stop fighting against God. What you need can be found on your knees thru repentance.
