I used to care a lot of about other think of me because I want to be liked. And therefore have become a people pleaser.⠀

🙄These days, I really don't give a shit anymore about what people think unless they're living the life I want.
Everyone has an opinion and everyone is so ready to offer one!
I wished these people would just pay more attention to minding their own business rather than mine but these people do exist and there's no way you can get rid of them.⠀

💪But I can ignore what they say and not allow them to get to me.
Because these days, I'm really watching my stress level. I want to live on for a long time and why should I compromise and sacrifice my health for people who I don't know.
Like I told you, I used to have a need to be right and liked! 2 most deadly "sins" if you ask me.⠀

💁♀️And btw sin isn't something bad, it just means you missed the mark.
I missed the mark by not putting myself and sanity first.
Self betrayal is the worst form of betrayal. And this ain't happening no more.⠀

🌈At the end of day, only I can love myself unconditionally. Not even my children or partner.
It's my job and responsibility to be happy.
So... your opinions don't pay my bills and mine don't pay for yours either.⠀
