Jesus’ Prayer for His “sheep”

He is the Great Shepherd

His prayer is perfect!

The Inner Core who receive daily prayer

Who? (John 17:9)

What? (John 17:8)

Whose? (John 17:10) [stewardship vs. ownership]

Keep us! (John 17:11)

Internally and Externally!

Let Your Joy be made manifest in us! (You) (John 17:13)

Joy is not enjoyment, not emotion. Joy is a deep rooted inner force that bears witness of His Presence, Love, Grace.

Spiritual Energy (Nehemiah 8:10)

Spiritual Motivator (Hebrews 12:2)

Keep us from the Evil One! (John 17:15)

His assignments (John 10:10; 1 Peter 5:8; 2 Corinthians 11:14)

Sanctify us in the TRUTH; Thy Word is Truth (John 17:17)

“I sanctify myself (set myself apart from the desires/passions of the flesh, the world system, the devil) (via the Word) (John 17:19) for their sakes!

Make us one! (John 17:21)

That we would receive the revelation that we are Loved as the Father loves the Son!! (John 17:26)
