Pharmacies are already giving various vaccines, they could potentially diagnose and treat high blood pressure, strep throat and a variety of other ailments.

Dr. John McHugh, Health Policy and Management at Columbia University, says much of your basic medical care could be done by your local pharmacist in the the future.
