Do you want your business to grow?  Or do you want to grow your business? 

Of course the answer to both those questions is YES. 

As deceptively similar as those questions seem, they actually address very different things.  It’s a matter of what season your business is in.

Early on, yes you will be responsible for growing your business.  As entrepreneurs and business owners, we start our ventures wearing many if not ALL hats.  In this phase, we are directly responsible for every component they contributes to the growth of our business.

Once our business gets to a certain size however, we can actually end up becoming the bottle neck for further growth if we don’t remove some hats to allow others on the team to wear them.
