Many of us, including me, have a tendency to overthink things.

According to Ross Lyon, former AFL Football player and coach, when you boil it all down, life can be pretty simple. 

It's about Dynamics and Mechanics.

The Dynamics are the human factors - people, relationships, culture, etc.

The Mechanics are structural - systems, processes, procedures, etc.

So if you find yourself in a bit of a rut and are trying to find a way forward, try looking at things through the lens of Dynamics and Mechanics.

You might just find an obvious answer in there somewhere.
