Had the pleasure of reading Joel Salatin's Your Successful Farm Business : Production, Profit, Pleasure.  It was a fantastic read and great depth of knowledge of successful business models but gives in depth expertise on farming (homesteading) and how you can achieve a successful farm or homestead operation. I give 6 things I learned from Joel Salatin's book and hope to apply to my homestead to make my hobby/survival farm prosper for years to come.
