Investigations into Al-Majd Europe led to the conclusion that it is not a well-meaning humanitarian initiative. Rather, it appears to be a front group for human traffickers.”

FEMA - UNCONSTITUTIONAL “EMERGENCY AID”-Trump lost in court again, this time regarding the unconstitutional FEMA aid funds to states — funds he wanted to not send to NC, not because he knows the federal handouts for “emergencies” are unconstitutional, but because he wanted to refashion FEMA-type aid and supply it in a different way. LINK It’s worth recalling that the Trump administration’s decision to terminate the Building Resilient Infrastructure and Communities (BRIC) program—which included cutting approximately $225 million in FEMA grants for 72 projects in North Carolina—was not related to the state’s immigration policies or non-compliance with federal immigration enforcement. The termination, announced in April, was a nationwide action affecting multiple states and was part of broader efforts to restructure FEMA. A Trump administration spokesperson described FEMA as a “green new deal slush fund” misused under the Biden administration.
But, get this, the Trump administration did not argue in court that FEMA was unconstitutional and that Trump had a duty not to send out the lucre. Thus, U.S. District Judge Richard Stearns Friday ruled that the administration lacked the “authority to cancel the program without congressional approval,” violating the “separation of powers” - so, if Congress passes more clearly unconstitutional legislation, and Trump or some other Prez declines to act on it/enforce it/execute it, would such a violation of the “separation of powers” not only be justified, but required, by the oath a Prez takes to protect and defend the Constitution?
The court ordered the funds restored and issued a permanent injunction against the termination. Separately, there have been other instances where the Trump administration has withheld or conditioned FEMA-related grants on immigration-related certifications (e.g., requiring states to exclude certain individuals from population counts for grant allocations), leading to lawsuits from North Carolina and other states over different funds like Emergency Management Performance Grants. However, those are distinct from the BRIC program referenced in the article.
US BUDGET - OBAMACARE SUBSIDIES DEBATE
The GOP under Johnson unveiled a new version of the “Affordable Care Act”. Rather than eliminating it for being unconstitutional and immoral, they are creating their own provisions and attempting to raise them like sails on the ugly ACA pirate ship. LINK Notice how the legislation attempts to create new corporate interest blocks. From the article: "The GOP proposal -- which will receive a vote on the House floor sometime next week -- would expand the availability of association health plans and what are known as ‘CHOICE arrangements’; impose new transparency requirements on pharmacy benefit managers to lower drug costs; and appropriate money for cost-sharing reductions to reduce premiums in the individual market. Association health plans allow employers to band together to purchase coverage. Notably, the 111-page measure would not funnel additional money into health savings accounts.”
The TSA gave fliers’ personal data to ICE to facilitate more deportations. Pay no attention to the Fourth Amendment, or the fact that the US Constitution mentions neither a federal “power” over travel (either in-state, or cross-state), nor a federal “power” over immigration. And, of course, even if the Constitution were amended, no group of people, regardless of size, has any self-claimed “authority” to demand money or actions from another. LINK (BTW, notice in the embedded video that Transportation Sec Sean Duffey and HHS Sec Robert F Kennedy Jr made a dual appearance to promote Duffey’s foolish toolish idea to put “workout rooms” into airports. How that comports with their already shredded US Constitution remains a mystery that even Columbo couldn’t figure out — but it, like Columbo’s focus, is a criminal act.)
-AND Duffey and his Transportation goons are threatening to withhold from NY state $73 MILLION in highway funds over immigration policy disagreements. In other words, it’s the withholding of unconstitutional and immoral “highway/transportation” funds over a dispute regarding the ALSO unconstitutional immigration police state. Do they ever pay attention to their so-called “rules”? LINK

US ECONOMY-More farm trouble is on the way… From the article: “A survey last month from the Chicago Fed found that third-quarter repayment rates in the Midwest for non-real-estate farm loans were lower than a year earlier for the eighth quarter in a row.” LINK
-More layoffs in TEXAS LINK However, as one reads about the TX layoffs, the larger US picture is even dimmer, in many states, and it is important to study what one branch of the Fed studied — the immigration crackdown. Federal immigration enforcement under the Trump administration—ramped up since mid-2024—appears to be exacerbating Texas’s economic slowdown, particularly in labor-intensive industries like construction, agriculture, and hospitality that rely heavily on immigrant workers (who make up about 1 in 5 of the state’s workforce and contribute ~$192 billion annually in income). A Dallas Fed survey found that immigration policy changes are directly hindering hiring, with 20% of Texas businesses reporting trouble retaining or recruiting foreign-born workers, contributing to weaker-than-expected job growth (e.g., Texas added only ~15,000 jobs in September vs. forecasts of 20,000+). This is hitting harder in Texas than in some states due to its border proximity and high immigrant labor dependence—ICE arrests here accounted for 1 in 4 nationwide in early 2025. Broader effects include supply chain disruptions and higher costs for businesses, compounding trade tensions. However, it’s one factor among others like rising interest rates and energy sector volatility.
