IMMIGRATION POLICE STATE-A three-judge panel on the 5th Circuit Court of Appeals just gave Trump and the DHS the okay to avoid due process for the people they unconstitutionally and immorally kidnap. From the report: “A federal appeals court Friday night backed the Trump administration’s policy to lock up nearly everyone it is seeking to deport without offering a chance for bond, even if they have no criminal records and have resided in the country for decades.” - Not good, not constitutional, in any way. -And this, from TX, as US citizens bring a new case to fight the feds. Headline: “Texans sue DHS to prevent ICE from detaining US citizens, demanding proof of citizenship” LINK
-Then, we have Trump’s push to not only END the Temporary Protective Status (TPS) program, but to forcibly return those who came to the US with the understanding they could do so under TPS parameters… Leslie Voltaire, a member of Haiti’s transitional presidential council (one of nine leaders in the interim government, not the singular “President” but part of the collective leadership body). He is not the President of Haiti in the traditional sense—Haiti has been under a transitional council rather than a single elected president at this time. He made the comment in an exclusive interview with Fox News Digital, where he said Haiti would be “helpless” if the United States ends TPS for Haitians, as the country couldn’t absorb up to 400,000 potential returnees and relies heavily on remittances from migrants in the US (and elsewhere) to sustain its economy. **Notice here how JD Vance misconstrues Jerry Nadler’s statement about the natural and justified defensive response of a civilian confronted by a masked, armed, aggressor. Vance depicts it as Nadler saying people are justified in shooting, or in some other way killing, federal agents simply because they are federal agents. What Nadler was saying was that the agents don’t offer ID and are masked assailants, and, so, of course, anyone would be justified in using violence in self-defense. Vance’s desperation is very telling here. LINK

-From this next piece, we read: “Kristi Noem's Department of Homeland Security (DHS) has requested to fast–track the deportation of the five–year–old boy who was detained by federal immigration agents while walking home from school in Minneapolis.” - Seriously. LINK
-AND, keep in mind that U.S. District Judge Michael H. Simon in the District of Oregon on Feb 3 issued a temporary restraining order (TRO) that limits federal agents (primarily from DHS/ICE) in their use of tear gas, pepper balls, rubber bullets, and other chemical or projectile munitions during protests outside the ICE building in Portland, Oregon.
It only applies to that federal district. Other key restrictions include:
No use of such munitions unless the specific target poses an imminent threat of physical harm to a law enforcement officer or others.
No firing at the head, neck, or torso unless the officer is justified in using deadly force.
It does not apply simply for trespassing, refusing to disperse, or blocking access without violence.
Again, this applies only locally — specifically to the area outside the federal ICE facility in Portland’s South Waterfront neighborhood. It is not a nationwide ruling and has no effect elsewhere (e.g., not in other cities or states). The TRO was granted as part of an ongoing lawsuit (Dickinson v. Trump, involving protesters and journalists represented by groups like the ACLU of Oregon). It lasts 14 days initially (so until around February 17, 2026), but Judge Simon scheduled a hearing for March 2, 2026, to consider extending it into a longer preliminary injunction. No reports indicate it has been overturned, stayed, or expired yet — recent coverage (from February 3–7, 2026) treats it as active. WARUS-RUSSIA-NUKESThe US allowed the New START nuclear arms treaty to expire on February 5, 2026, ending verifiable limits on U.S. and Russian strategic nuclear weapons for the first time in over 50 years. In September 2025, Russia proposed an informal one-year extension of the treaty’s core limits to facilitate negotiations. But, for months, Trump didn’t even respond, until a few days ago, when he rejected this, calling New START a “badly negotiated deal” that’s being violated, and instead pushing for a new multilateral agreement including China to address its expanding arsenal. US-INDIA-RUSSIA - TARIFF ANGLEFrom RT, we see that Trump claims to have gotten the Indian govt to stop trading in Russian fuel. But, at the same time, he is lowering the tariff on Indian oil exports from 50% to 18%. He must know that once India imports Russian fuel and purchases it for resale, they are doing what he said they should not do and doing what he cited when he raised the insane tariff. Here is more, from RT: “According to Commerce Minister Piyush Goyal, the framework agreed by the countries opens up a $30 trillion market for Indian exporters as the US slashes reciprocal tariffs from the earlier 50%, which included a 25% penalty for Russia oil imports, to 18%. And, as Trump’s tariffs not only increased costs for US farmers and ranchers and saw foreign nations retaliate with tariffs against US exports, Trump decides it’s a great move to allow SOME new beef imports from ONE nation. It’s curious that he reacts to his own economic malfeasance with isolated examples that should show him the positives of allowing more SUPPLY.
