IRANTrump Saturday claimed that Iran’s government apologized for firing at its Mid-Eastern neighbor nations and that the Iranian leadership promised never to “shoot at them anymore.” This pushes two false narratives wrapped inside the already-faulty assumption that the US has any legitimate say on the status or future of Iran. The first false narrative is that the Iranian government was firing on “their neighbors” when the Iranian government was targeting US bases plunked down on the soil of their neighbors. The second is that the Iranians promised never to do it again. Doing “IT’ is a deception, again, because the Iranians were attacking US bases in RESPONSE to the US attacking Iran, and it’s clear that Iran’s governmental body would be insane not to reserve the prerogative to hit US bases again, in a defensive manner. Thus, the message that Iran actually offered was one of being forced to defend against US bases, and a signal to other Middle Eastern nations to purge their lands of said bases. Despite this screen-cap being from a different episode, here are our friends, Tony, Don, and Billy Ray, the good guys of “America Unplugged” trying to make sense of Trump’s ravings.

Evidently, he hasn’t seen what the US does, all over the globe, and what Israelis have done, for decades, in Gaza. UPDATE: IRAN is reported to have struck back on Israeli oil depots. ‘NEW: Iran says it struck Israel’s Haifa oil refinery with ballistic missiles
Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) said it targeted the Bazan oil refinery in Haifa Bay on March 7 using Kheibar Shekan solid-fuel ballistic missiles.
The IRGC said the strike was retaliation for recent U.S.–Israeli attacks on Iran’s energy sector, including strikes on oil depots around Tehran.
The refinery, operated by Bazan Group, is Israel’s largest oil processing facility and supplies roughly 50–60% of the country’s domestic fuel. The site was also hit in a June 2025 Iranian missile barrage that killed three workers, injured dozens, and forced a months-long shutdown. Iranian officials said the strike was meant as response to Israeli attacks on Iranian oil storage infrastructure.’ LINK

Because what we did was, under the flag of truce, carried out a surprise attack that assassinated Ali Khamenei…”
However, at least this happened in DC… Headline: ‘AOC, Omar and other 'Squad' reps among the 53 House Dems that voted against reaffirming Iran as a terror sponsor’ - The measure in question is H.Res. 1099, a nonbinding resolution “Reaffirming Iran remains the largest state sponsor of terrorism.” It was introduced by Rep. Brian Mast (R-FL) and voted on in the U.S. House of Representatives on March 5, 2026.The House passed it by a vote of 372-53 (with 2 members voting “present”), requiring a two-thirds majority under suspension of the rules. All 53 “no” votes came from Democrats, including members of “the Squad” such as Reps. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (AOC), Ilhan Omar, Rashida Tlaib, and Ayanna Pressley. Most Democrats (157) voted yes, along with all Republicans (215). LINK
