The first case deals with a person who came here to escape persecution, got married, and should not be sent back his nation of origin, even without thinking of the fact that the feds don't have a role in policing immigration. Even on their current statutory level, this person should not be deported.

The second case is about EO 14168 in which Trump directed HHS to stop funding for women's domestic violence shelters that promoted trans guys posing as women. If Trump thinks he is going to get Putin to concede on things like the four Oblasts Russia has retaken, the area of Crimea that has voted to rejoin Russia, Ukraine's entrance into NATO, or Putin accepting Ukraine joining the EU, Trump is crazier than many suspect. The federal government is not supposed to have anything to do with air routes, air security, or "electronic IDs" people can use in a growing number of airports. None of it is constitutional. The federal government is not supposed to have anything to do with air routes, air security, or "electronic IDs" people can use in a growing number of airports. None of it is constitutional.
