Exceptional book: Practical advice for personal growth and spiritual development
Many self-help books focus on one particular modality. Dr. Jennifer Howard has explored many teachings, and has put together a wholistic perspective, including just the essential aspects of transformation. She has put together a handbook for personal growth and or spiritual practice. She includes shadow work, holographic theory, Morphic fields and nonduality, indicative of Dr. Jennifer's knowledge and wisdom. The book includes a breadth of teachings and depth of process for the practitioner. She has a chapter for each of the Kabbalistic bodies/worlds. That her meditations often include the four worlds, especially including the awareness of the body and bodily feelings, is indicative of the maturity of her teachings. Too many authors teach meditations of the head, perpetuating the mind/body split. The chapter on multidimensional awareness practice is masterful and very practical. Chapter 13 provides very powerful meditative prompts. I congratulate Dr. Jennifer for pulling all this material together in a readable, practical form. So much of the book corresponds to the curriculum I developed for a program in consciousness studies, that I plan to assign this book to my students.
