As florists, there are times that our value comes into question as a professional. We hear that being a florist is a hobby, rather than a "real job".  Offering insight into your floral world will help your customers, as well as the pubic, realize that floristry is a real profession and we are here to help them as professionals. When someone says to me they want to be a florist and play with flowers all day like me... I tell them I want the job they think I have.
