Have you ever been faced with a challenge that couldn’t bring yourself to talk about? Maybe you felt like you didn’t know a single person who had ever been in your shoes.
When it comes to infertility, 1 in 6 adults worldwide is affected yet many do not know where to turn for support. Today’s guest though is changing this. Carolynn Dube is the Executive Director of Fertility Matters Canada, a national charity focussed on supporting people who need access to fertility care across Canada.
Carolynn is a mom of three young boys and shares her own fertility journey with us telling us of how she felt alone until she began bravely sharing her own challenges which led others to begin opening up to her about their own.
We talk about Carolynn’s work and the impact she’s making, raising twins, her infamous moose milk recipe and so much more.
Reproductive Medicine is Medicine
Carolynn shared incredible statistics around just how many people are affected by fertility challenges while reproductive medicine remains privately funded - often costing families well into the multiple 5 figures for treatment. Listen in to hear how her work is moving this issue forward.
