I’m back today with my guest Ashlee Harry-Ingram @peachtings. Ashlee is a young Black American woman who now calls Australia home. She is a stylist, designer and artist who absolutely knows how to wear a bold colour and accessorise accordingly. We’re gonna get into more about Ashlee and her work in another episode (stay tuned), but in this chat we dive into some big issues around race, cultural identity, and the culture shock moving from Omaha, Nebraska to Brisbane, Australia.

Ashlee shares some huge personal experiences, and I’m so grateful that she chose to share her story with us. Just a little heads up before we get into the chat, there is a little bit of audio rustling, it’s just Ashlee’s headphones moving around, so ignore it, if you can. Or, you can be like me and pretend it’s the sweet rustling of the leaves moving in an ocean breeze.
