My 5 year old exudes self-worth, self-confidence, positive self-image when she is complimented - where I tend to jump on the defensive and draw attention to the ways in which I perceive that I fall short. I would love to preserve my daughter's response, and the self-confidence that accompanies it, so I am changing my habits to reflect her approach!
