Hey you guys!! today I talked about the importance of us discerning the moments where we should be serving and the moments where we should just be sitting still with Jesus. I feel like many times we act like Martha. We we want to serve, we want to join ministries, maybe even start a ministry, go out to the world and proclaim the good news, we want to love people the way Jesus loves, etc., But the problem is when we don’t act like Mary. We don’t sit with Jesus. There is no intimacy. We want to talk about a God that we can’t even spend five minutes with. We want to spread a love that we are not filled with. So, if we are trying to do all of these things without intimacy, it shows that we’re trying to do it for Jesus, but not with Jesus. It becomes empty because we’re not actually having the most important thing which is that intimacy with Jesus.
