Awhile back we went back to the theatre and did another double feature.  One is the latest entry into a pretty successful franchise that started back in the 1990's.  Many of the original characters have returned, while some new actors have been added to the mix.  Overall, it was a solid entry into the franchise.  The second film we saw is quite a bit different; not a bombastic action comedy,  but a character driven drama movie.  Not a whole lot of action happens, but the character arcs and acting are both excellent.  Both movies are recommended.
