After missing his bus stop, a man finds himself stranded in a fog-choked part of the city. He soon realizes he's being followed by a mysterious presence whose rhythmic footsteps echo his own. His desperate run for safety leads him to a strange, all-night diner with an unsettling waitress. The footsteps stop right outside, but the door never opens. A chilling whisper from beneath the door reveals his pursuer is something far more sinister than a person.
