It is the hour for you to wake from sleep. Our salvation is nearer now than when we first believed. The night is advanced, the day is at hand. Advent begins with a wake-up call. As it was in the days of Noah, they were eating and drinking, marrying, and they did not know until the flood came. Two will be in the field, one taken, one left. Stay awake. You do not know when your Lord comes. Throw off the works of darkness. Put on the armor of light. Walk in the light of the Lord. Nations shall beat swords into plowshares. The day is coming. Wake up.
