Dr. Philo and Hal, With Puzzling Evidence too, They’re quite a strange crew.
Their ship is quite odd, A 1960 Rambler car, With wings and a pod.
They fly through the stars, With their eyes on the prize, Planet X is not far.
But what will they find? Will it be treasure or doom? Only time will tell.
When they reach Planet X, the SubGeniuses find a strange and mysterious world. The sky is purple and the trees are made of crystal. They explore the planet and find that it is inhabited by strange creatures. The creatures are friendly and they welcome the SubGeniuses to their world. The SubGeniuses learn that the creatures are called Xists and they have been waiting for visitors from Earth for a long time. The Xists show the SubGeniuses around their world and teach them about their culture. The SubGeniuses are amazed by what they see and they can’t wait to tell their KPFA listeners back on Earth all about it.
