You're the Apple of My Eye

Listen Later

In this episode, you get TWO games of Balderdash for the price of one!!! Brought to you by forgetting to hit record. Tune in to learn the correct (and very INCORRECT) definitions of "nidifugous" and "widdershins".

Questions this week: What does "apple of my eye" mean? Why do we have so many pronunciations for words ending in "ough"? Are there any words in Portuguese that sound like words in English, but just don't translate?

And I would just like to state for the record that I know that Romance Languages are called Romance Languages because they have their origins in Latin (& thus, the Roman Empire). What was my mouth thinking???
