In this episode, I have a special guest named Madison. She is a 17 year old senior at Benjamin Franklin High School in New Orleans, Louisiana. The chair of the Youth Advisory Board at New Orleans Children Youth Planning Board (CYPB). A young Black woman who is planning on studying molecular biology when in college. She is striving to help people of color in her community!
We start to talk about our experience with virtual school and how the experience is different for both of us. Then, we continue to talk about COVID-19 and how people are taking mask wearing as joke and as an option. Then, we end it by talking about mental health within the black youth community.
