Emily recalls her experience after making the decision to leave and what really propelled her go through with it after having left many times before. For her seeing a lawyer was the catalyst! Not only did her lawyer offer sound  legal advice and educated her on her rights BUT for the first time she no longer felt powerless and defeated.
