💥 Join me today on the podcast (link below) as I exhort: Harvest time is coming and there will be a great separation of the wheat and tares! This is not the time to continue in what God has deemed sinful and lustful. Now I know some may have missed the mark and have fallen short of God’s best for us and we’re feeling defeated and somewhat lost. Beloved, we have all been there where we have failed a test sent by God and are just broken up about it. Well, that’s actually a good place to be – broken up over our disobedience. This is where repentance has a chance to thrive in the lives of those who follow Lord Jesus but came up short in that one area. Our God is merciful and will correct, chastise, and discipline His children when they go in the way of error. The proper response is to repent and going forward, sin no more. The Lord is saying to our hearts, “Get back up, remain faithful, come out from the world, and follow Me always!”
The difference between one who follows the Lord and one who doesn't is the struggle against sin and the ability to overcome it. A true follower of the Lord Jesus Christ will ALWAYS repent, will ALWAYS eventually return to God, and will ALWAYS fight the struggle against sin, by crucifying their fleshly desires on a consistent, habitual, practicing basis - all possible by the Holy Spirit who indwells them, the one born of God.
We must never mistake God’s kindness for weakness. We cannot continue in persistent, habitual, deliberate sin and still expect to inherit His Kingdom! The Bible is unanimous in all Scripture about the ungodly who practice such wicked things: “The unrighteous will not inherit the kingdom of God.” (study 1 Corinthians 6:9-10, Galatians 5:21).
Beloved, be not deceived, without living a holy life, you and I will not inherit the Kingdom of Heaven! Jesus Christ did not die and suffer so we can continue to live unrighteous, unholy, unclean lives! We are not called to be withered broken-off branches destined for the FIRE!! But we are called to remain in Him, as He will remain in us, producing fruits of righteousness! We must be fully prepared to enter Eternity to meet Jesus, the King of Glory - one way or the other, Judgment will be pronounced! Now get up and move forward in obedience to Lord Jesus. Allow the Holy Spirit to sanctify you and get you prepared to meet with the Lord! REMEMBER ALWAYS: “You were washed, you were sanctified, you were justified in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ and by the Spirit of our God” (1 Corinthians 6:11).
