"I didn't have the skill, maturity nor value..." is what my Father said. What I am learning, daily, is life should be about love, empathy and grace. The more I find understanding, in somethings and or people, it pushes me to not only have boundaries, but helps me learn how remove any dislike or hate towards it or them. There is a difference between the word "dad" and the word "FATHER"...by my definition. My journey to these wins are still in affect. Even though my dad was not in my life, I still hold hope one day we can get to the place where I call him FATHER. The win in this process is it's still an on going journey and I am open to embrace the man I desire to call FATHER. Once you find understanding about a person, it is hard to hate them and or dislike them. Just my opinion from my own experience. I hope you all are inspired by this episode. I believe it is important for me to be transparent about my road to the wins. In the episode, you will hear me get vulnerable, shed tears and speak about one of the best wins I received. In this Episode I challenge you all and even myself to see that a setback is not a loss, but that it really is a win. It is just how you see it and or how you respond to it. When we react, I believe we are allowing our minds to stay in an emotional state , which causes us to make irrational moves versus if we respond, we then tend to make wiser moves. Part 2 of Winning starts with you, I am emphasizing the importance of "Setting The Goal X Meeting The Goal". While setting and meeting a goal, it is imperative to have SMART goals: Specific Measurable Attainable Relevant Time- We do a really good job of some times being unrealistic when setting goals and then set ourselves up for failure when we don't meet these very goals.
