Today I sit down with a PhD student from korea. Some of the topics we touch on are culture, comparison between america and korean culture, sex communication, and more. Please listen to this podcast with an open mind as me and my guest identify with other cultures that have different norms and values. The reason to keep this in mind is that while something may be taboo to talk about in one culture is normal in the other. My purpose behind this and all of my podcasts is to expose people to new ideas and concepts that may not be available to them. With that being said the perspective of myself and my guest are through our own lived experiences and don't reflect the entirety of one’s culture. My intentions are never to insult or hurt people when having difficult conversations about culture, identity, race, and other sensitive topics but I believe that difficult questions must be asked to the people who have experienced this first hand.
