Yuri Felshtinsky on Rashkin Report:
Trump’s inability to say one bad word about Putin, remains defining feature of his secret deal with Putin.
From the beginning Trump searched for way to have direct unimpeded contact with Kremlin.
Putin made Trump victory possible.
Russia now can do whatever it wants in Syria.
Israel and Saudi Arabia will say the most troubling recent event is Iran becoming a regional superpower. Iran's only friend is Russia.
Today’s Russia is the first time we’ve seen a secret police take over a huge country economically and politically.
KGB was designed to destroy not to build.
Sales of Russian natural resources go to finance the destruction of other countries.
Expect a conflict between North and South Korea, followed by Russia negotiating it's "non-involvement" (see Syria).
With Trump in the White House, expect him to say how useful Russia is in dealing with North Korea, while Russia will actually work against the United States.
Dictators are more willing to destroy their country than loose power. North Korea is no different.
Putin is trying to enlarge the territory of Russia. Second Korean War will present him with such opportunity.
Putin is a provocateur who is trying to provoke North Korea to have a war with the United States. It would not be surprising to find out later on that Russia helped North Korea develop its weapons.
If Putin was just another dictator, we would know how this would end. Unfortunately that is not the case in Russia. Putin is the face of an institution, which includes former FSB operatives, people from military power structures, and some from criminal world, when criminal world became part of Russian government in early 1990s. Russia will not change dramatically if Putin dies tomorrow.
Revolutions in Russia are rare and they usually happen as a result of defeat in a war. Putin is not afraid of revolution or a coup or an election.
Putin will never leave his position as President.
