Matthew Simpson is an Atlanta-based writer and filmmaker whose wide-ranging work spans narrative films, music videos, wedding films, and commercial content. He is the founder of Absolution Productions and the Atlanta Writers Club, Second Draft.His first feature film, Before Me, held its world premiere at Atlanta’s Tara Theatre in June 2026. The film was selected for the 2026 Atlanta Underground Film Festival.
