Ken Ilgunas is the author of "Walden on Wheels: On the Open Road from Debt to Freedom." He tells us how he was able to pay his graduate education at Duke University while secretly living in a van on Duke's campus. He also explains whether a degree is required for many of the jobs that young people work.

Ken Ilgunas was born in Ontario, Canada and raised in Wheatfield—a small town in western New York where his family still lives. He just finished walking the entire 1,700-mile length of the proposed Keystone XL Pipeline.
