A touring jazz musician from Berklee College of Music, Zach serendipitously fell into Japanese green tea during a trip in Paris, France. His pursuit of performing music brought him to New York City but a teashop on the Upper East Side further piqued his interest in tea. Upon a fateful meeting, he booked a trip to Fukuoka, Japan, where Zach sources most of his green teas for Kettl.
