They talk about him growing up with very little in Delaware, working at 14 and finding skateboarding as an outlet, moving around place to place and deciding to move to Los Angeles to pursue a life in skateboarding, buying a plane ticket with no extra money saved, flying to Los Angeles with no gameplan and only having a backpack and 5 changes of clothes, sleeping on the street and eventually renting a van to sleep in, saving up money and then getting a house with a girl he met at the skatepark who's now his girlfriend, progressing in skateboarding and now being a sponsored skater, coaching skateboarding to the Groening family (creators of The Simpsons), and so much more.
