There are few humans and even fewer football players who truly fall into the category of "one of a kind" or "the man, the myth, the legend."

But Zach Zenner is undeniably one of them, perhaps South Dakota's version of those old Dos Equis commercials — the most interesting man in the world.

The South Dakota State and Missouri Valley Football Conference all-time career rushing and al-purpose yards leader possesses an uncommon curiosity about the world, particularly the human body and maximizing its health.

He didn't just study it while slicing through defenses. He lived it — by slicing through literal dead human bodies as a pre-med student — and still does, from his meticulous dieting and training methods, to meditation, to monitoring literally every step and breath so he can get more mileage out of his own motor. 

Zenner has parlayed that into a career as a professional nutritionist and health coach while also being an NFL agent.

In a nearly 70-minute conversation with Happy Hour host John Gaskins, Zenner digs in to all these matters, plus details his decorated SDSU career from 2011-14 that marked a transition for the Jackrabbits from decent FCS program to consistent national powerhouse.
