I couldn’t be finished with the whole Ark Encounter story without getting Dan Arel’s input. Dan used his platform to take on Ken Ham and although Ham eventually got his “tax rebate”, Dan’s work along with other secular groups showed the world what he’s up to in Northern Kentucky. Dan grew up pentecostal but can’t speak in tongues, and started his writing career after losing a job and going to a local conference. He’s the author of Parenting Without God and the upcoming The Secular Activist.
