TODAY’S QUESTION:
Oh, I thought this was our last episode from our last Q&A, but I think we have one more after this, which is an exciting treat. I’m surprised. I’m surprised. I didn’t know. But as I’m looking over what this next question is, I’m like, wait, we have one more after that. So this is exciting. We have this one and then one more. Oh, what a treat. Okay. I’m really excited about this.
Our question today comes from someone who was obviously on the call with Zahera live. And they asked a really cool question about living in a house, sharing space with someone who holds a lot of darkness and fear in a very loud way and in a very intense way. So someone who is, let’s say, on their awakening path and really trying to hold the light and be really calm, grounded in their energy and centered, sharing space with, being in close connection with someone who holds a lot of darker energy, fear, a lot of maybe chaos energy. The question is, what is the best way to let darkness flow through me and not hold it, especially when it comes consistently at unexpected times within your space, right? Oh my gosh, I’m so excited for this. So let’s hear what Zahera has to say.
MESSAGE FROM ZAHERA:
What a beautiful question and experience. What a beautiful opportunity for you. And to be able to see and witness this, yes, it can be challenging. And also it is beautiful to see the co-creation of the embodiment of these two energies coexisting in your life.
One, I would say, a main reason for this type of reflection is for you, anyone in this experience, to be able to really see the opposite energies, to be able to hold their own and the other first, that’s the first step. And the second would be to work on releasing the judgment. So the next thing I would say is to become aware of why, how is this energy benefiting you, this relationship? What is here for you?
There are things in this reflection that, one, that you may benefit from holding a little more of that darkness. You may benefit from loving a little more of that darkness. I would say, I would recall it, though, dense and light, dense, because there’s a heaviness and a lightness. And so really looking at what is this here? Why is this here for me? is the first thing, because it can only be there for you if there’s something for you there. So when you learn what you need to learn from that experience, it will naturally dissipate. Whether that means that wouldn’t be the same person living with you or that they would naturally begin to shift, that both could be true.
So what is it that you are here to benefit from from this experience is the first aspect. The second one that is so exciting is that you have permission to hold your energy no matter what is happening around you. So you don’t have to be where the other person is, and this is for anyone ever, you can hold your energy and they can have their energy. And so this is a great opportunity to practice that. Ah, I see, I notice you are very angry. I am feeling very happy. And I give myself permission to continue to be happy. And I’ll give you permission to be angry because anger is an important experience. And I don’t need to take that experience from you. Your anger is not a threat to me.
Now, obviously, if you’re in physical harm’s way, it could be a threat to you, but in other circumstances, even so, you can remove yourself from the threat and just say, ah, I see you need a minute. This is a beautiful opportunity for you to hold your energy in the presence of others holding their energy and to work on the codependency that can happen and the belief that we have to go to someone else’s energy and can’t have permission to hold our own. Work on holding your own light and joy and peace while others are not. Very good.
Closing Thoughts from Sara:
The thing about Zahera is that she does not look at the world as good and bad. And she understands that that’s our experience and that’s where we’re at and isn’t judging us for that. She’s like, that’s a part of the polarity. That’s the part of the separation. That’s what we’re here to experience. And so she’s really good at holding that for us and also helping us to step out of it a little bit and say, okay, what is happening here for you?
Everything that happens in your life is a reflection for you, for something for you to learn from, something for you to understand. So what is here for you? Not rejecting and being angry at whatever the thing is that’s frustrating or challenging, but what is this here for? What can I learn from this experience, from this moment?
And honestly, she holds the joy of experiencing the polarity. She’s kind of amused and entertained, not in a way of, oh, this is funny to have us be in challenging situations, but wow, how interesting, how wonderful to hold and experience such different energies simultaneously. I could see where an aspect of creation who’s not in this physical experience could be like, oh, how interesting, how interesting that would be. Yeah. Real interesting. Really freaking interesting. Okay, great.
