Every one of us has a story to tell and a unique journey to take when pursuing our dreams. But it's incredibly special when the two align and part of the journey is actually telling the story itself! That's what happened for my next lovely podcast guest, Zane Roebuck, an entrepreneur, chief visionary and co-founder of The Inspired Stories, a modern stationery and lifestyle brand.
After leaving her 9 to 5 job, Zane spent several months evaluating what she really wanted from life and researched self-development and self-growth books and podcasts. She often would find that she needed a way of arranging all the information she was absorbing in an easy-to-use structure to help organise her mind. With a keen passion for stationery and planners, Zane's idea was born.
She wanted to create a motivational planner that she herself would use, and with the help of her sister Baiba and best friend Kat, they discovered an untapped niche in the stationary market. On a mission to inspire, motivate and empower women to be their own inspiration, they co-founded The Inspired Stories, bringing together their individual talents, strengths and personalities as well as their shared values and vision for their new brand.
Despite not having experience with creating a physical product or running a business, they dived straight in, learning about the industry and overcoming all the challenges - a great testimony that anything is possible if you break down your big dreams and goals into specific action steps - just as they encourage you to do in their beautiful, practical and easy-to-use planners, journals and motivational notebooks!
