What does it mean to dedicate years of your life to music and keep creating through all the challenges along the way?In this episode of Zayetzi Pod, I sit down with Anne Maartmann, musician, singer, and pianist, to talk about her artistic journey, her relationship with music, and the many challenges that come with being a musician.
Anne shares experiences from her many years in music, the lessons she has learned throughout her journey, and what keeps her inspired to continue creating and expressing herself through different instruments and her voice. We also explore a beautiful idea: music as a universal language.
Music has the power to connect people across countries, cultures, and languages, sometimes without the need for words at all. This conversation is also an invitation to anyone who has ever felt drawn to music: you don’t need to know everything or have the perfect background to begin. Dare to sing, play an instrument, experiment, create, and find your own way of expressing yourself.Because music has no borders. 🎶🌎

How much of what we hear about radiation is actually true? And how can we distinguish between scientific evidence, misinformation, and conspiracy theories?
In this episode of Zayetzi Pod: Conversations Around the World, I talk with Yihan Tong, born and raised in Sweden to Chinese parents and currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Physics.
We talk about his journey into physics, growing up between Swedish and Chinese cultures, and how studying science has shaped the way he sees and questions the world.
Yihan explains radiation in simple terms, discusses some common misconceptions surrounding it, and shares why critical thinking is so important in a world filled with information, trends, and opinions. But this conversation goes beyond science.
We also talk about discipline, uncertainty, personal growth, and the lessons Yihan has learned while pursuing his own path.

What does it really mean to be present in a world that constantly pulls our attention elsewhere?
In this episode, I speak with Charnita, mindfulness expert, well-being author, TEDx speaker and founder of Perfect Life Spot, about how mindfulness can become a practical part of our everyday lives.
We explore self-awareness, emotional intelligence and Nonviolent Communication, and how these tools can help us better understand our emotions, respond rather than react, and build healthier relationships. We also talk about raising emotionally aware children and the role parents can play in helping them understand and express their feelings and needs.
A thoughtful and practical conversation about slowing down, understanding ourselves and discovering that greater calm and happiness may begin by simply learning to be present.

With more than 40 years of experience in industrial ecology and sustainable development, Björn Frostell has spent his career exploring one fundamental question: How can we build societies that work better for both people and the planet?
In this episode of Zayetzi Pod, Björn shares insights from decades of research, education, industry collaboration, and international experience in areas such as energy, water, food, resource flows, industrial ecology, and sustainable development.
We explore some of the biggest environmental and societal challenges humanity is facing today—and, more importantly, what we can actually do about them.
Björn explains why sustainability is not only the responsibility of governments, companies, or policymakers. Our everyday choices also matter. He shares three practical principles for making better decisions for the planet and explains how understanding the connections between consumption, resources, waste, nature, and society can help us live more consciously.
We also talk about how products, cities, and industries may need to change in the coming decades; common misconceptions about sustainability; where our waste actually goes after it leaves our homes; and why seeing society and nature as interconnected systems can completely change the way we understand sustainability.
Drawing on experiences from Sweden and around the world—including international research and conferences—Björn also reflects on a fascinating question:
If people 100 years from now could look back at us today, what would they think about the decisions we are making?
A thoughtful conversation about responsibility, systems thinking, circularity, human behavior, and the future we are creating through the choices we make.
